Our guides will pick you up at approximately 9:00 a.m. either directly from your establishment or at a meeting point that is easier for you.
A beautiful Journey for all ages people to discover the “Mountain”, this is the name that the citizens tribute to Etna. We will explain the amazing volcanic phenomena by walking along a fascinating trekking path of about anhour along the edges of ancient extinct lateral craters and birch, pine and oak treesforests. We will then visit a lava tube. With protective helmets and torches, inside we will see all the typicalcharacteristics of a lava tunnels and the traditional use of grottos and the legends related to them will be explained.
Lunch in a refuge with an appetizer and first course based on typical Sicilian products. In the afternoon, the Alcantara gorges, an easy walk to enter in a suggestive lava canyon, decorated with beautiful geometrics shapes of columnar basalts, bathing your feet in the icy waters.

● Pick-up at 9:00 a.m. from your accommodation.
● Soft trekking (about 1 hour) on the edge of side craters turned off at 2000 meters above sea level.
● Visit to a lava flow cave.
● Stop in an ancient lava flow now cooled.
● Light lunch in a shelter mountain (starter, first course, wine and water).
● Visit to the Alcantara Gorges.
● Return your accomodation.
