Our guides will pick you up at approximately 9:00 a.m. either directly from your establishment or at a meeting point that is easier for you.
By car along the flourishing slopes of the most active volcano in Europe you will reach the beginning of the nature trail. Walking along the edge of ancient extinct craters up to 2000 meters above sea level, through centuries-old woods of birch, chestnut trees, oaks and pines, You can admire the silence of the broken woods only by the song of birds and the beautiful panoramic windows between lunar landscapes and lava flows.
You will then visit a lava flow cave. equipped with protective helmets and torches, inside you will notice all the typical features of lava tunnels and explain the traditional uses of ingrottati and legends related to them.
Program
● Pick-up at 9:00 a.m. from your accommodation.
● Soft trekking (about 1 hour) on the edge of side craters turned off at 2000 meters above sea level.
● Visit to a lava flow cave.
● Stop in an ancient lava flow now
cooled.
● Return to your accomodation.
